The Author
August Jean was born and raised in West Virginia and is the ninth child of thirteen brothers and sisters. After years of hardship and misfortune in the hills, she eventually moved to the state of California over forty years ago. While attaining her college degree, she raised three sons and worked full time. After working more then twenty-three years, she retired a few years ago from the stationery and office supply industry. She is the grandmother of three grandsons and is enjoying her retirement and traveling.
August Jean and her son David have a unique relationship in writing books. Since they both have great creative inaginations and story-telling abilities, they find it very relaxing and enjoyable to write. Readers will find their books are interesting, easy to read and able to hold their attention.
