Letters on file with the author

Hi August:
I ran through the first half of your incredible book. What an incredible story of your fight with the ineipt VA. I started my claim in 1969 with 30% SC for burns and a botched surgery I recently got a copy of my complete VA file and found that I had a 50% rating which was reduced to a preexisting issue which was false. I have filed for a revaluation on the original issue and CUE. Still reading and will let you know when I am through. Thanks for all you do for our Veterans and the help and information in your outstanding book...

Dear Mrs. Jean.
My wife got me your book, I really did not want to read it because I am tired of all the VA fighting and lies, and crap, they put you through. I fought for my country and now I have to fight my country to get help, makes no sense to me. However, I did sit down and read your book and WOW is all that I can say,. It is great and gave me hope that you can fight and win. It gave me some new directions on how to attack these people. Thank you is all can say. Enclosed is a check for the books I want to order some for my friends to read. Again thank you so very much....

Mrs. Jean..
A good friend of mine bought me a book you were selling and I read it and was impressed . I was upset at first because I thought how could this woman know what I feel and went through I read your and you changed my mind. Your book is great and will help those fighting battles with that GD VA. People should line up to buy your book to help the vets they know Thank you for your courage and time in writing this book, you are a great woman..

Dear Mrs. Jean;
I have just finished reading your book Combat to Compenation. I must say it is one of the most informative and educational books about the VA that has ever been written. Thank you for taking the time to write this book and good luck with it...

To whom it may concern:
My name is ________ _______ I am a former Marine and Desert Storm Veteran. I am writing this letter to let you know that I have been fighting with the VA for over four and a half years to get my pension converted from non servie-connected to service-connected I was ready to give up and let the VA win. One of my friends told me about the book, Combat to Compensation. Now I know after reading it there is absolutely no way that I will give up until I get what I deserve. Even though, my case is still pending I am confdent that I will eventually get a favorable decision, Finally, I have had the chance to meet MS Jean and she has personally given me advice and encouragement and explained many of the Code of Federal Regulations . ((CFr's) regarding VA service-connected disability. She is seriously concerned about the fate of our veterans Conbat to Compensation is a book every veteran should read...
